This weekend my sister, aka Sugar, got engaged! We're so happy for her and our future "Uncle Stewart." It's been really, really hard being just far enough away that I can't rush down there for the day to celebrate with them and share in their joy. Hey Rachel! I've been reading your blog for a little while now. I hopped over from Kim (McKinnis) Smith. I've loved reading about your sweet family. Okay, so now I've de-lurked myself.
I'm writing today to say that Stewart Deere's parents are some of my parents' best friends. My mom told me the good news of his engagement, but I hadn't made the connection to you! He's great- I'm sure you already know and so is his family. Congratulations to Sugar and Stewart and also to both families- what great additions to each!
