Disneyworld Day 3

Our third day at Disney came bright and early. We actually woke the kids up this morning so we could be there early and get in line for Rapunzel. Madeleine popped right up out of bed, she was so excited! We grabbed some breakfast at a Dunkin' Donuts near our hotel and headed for the park. We decided to try out the monorail that morning instead of taking the ferry. This seemed fun, until we got on and both Madeleine and Harrison decided that it smelled bad. Yuck! It didn't smell bad just different. Once inside the park, our first stop was the Fairytale garden to get in line for Rapunzel. We got there just as the 9:00 show was starting & the line for the 10:00 show was already full, so we were waiting on the 11:00 show. At this point I was really really hoping this was going to be worth it! But, Madeleine looooves anything Rapunzel/Tangled right now, so we decided to stick it out. The kids and I left Matt in line and walked down to the Wishing Well for a wish & some pictures.

Since the line was so long, Matt took the kids over to ride Harrison's favorite Jungle Cruise (again) and I held our place in line. The shows were actually running a little ahead of schedule & I ended up waiting for only about 1 hour and 40 minutes. No too bad! It went pretty fast -- by the time Matt and the kids got back we were almost there. We were the 3rd in line for our group which was awesome! That meant a lot less waiting once we got inside!

When the kids got into the Fairytale Garden, they had coloring sheets set up for them to work on -- it was on this really neat, old looking stone table. Madeleine worked very hard on her picture.
This was the moment that Rapunzel came out and I just love the look on her face. She was in awe of this! First Flynn came out and then he called for Rapunzel and out she came. They talked to the kids and were so in character! Then the dance/sang with them!

When it was time to meet them & take pictures, they spent their time talking with Madeleine. She told me later that Flynn called Rapunzel, "blondie" while they were talking -- she thought that was so funny!!! Madeleine also told me that she thought this Rapunzel was prettier than on the movie and she was convinced that she was the real deal! This was so worth the wait! I would do it again just to see Madeleine's face and her joy as she experienced this!
After all that fun, we headed over to ride the Teacups again. This time Charlotte joined us!
This isn't the best picture of her -- she loved the Teacups! We all did!
All that fun wore miss Charlotte out & we stopped for some lunch while she slept.

Lunch seemed to revive us & we headed to Frontierland in hopes of seeing some Toy Story characters. We found Woody & Jessie! While waiting in line to meet them, the kids watched Splash Mountain. Matt joked to Madeleine if she'd like to ride it & she was all for it! He went to get some FastPasses for later (we figured she'd change her mind, but Matt could still go).
Harrison got very shy around Woody & Jessie, but Madeleine was excited to meet them!
Our next stop was princesses! While we waited (in air-conditioning) Charlotte was able to get down & walk/crawl for a bit which was a nice break for her. We were able to meet Aurora, Cinderella & Belle!

Madeleine said that Aurora asked her what her favorite flower was -- Madeleine said "daisies." Aurora told her that the prince always brings her daisies & Madeleine was excited by that!
Cinderella asked her who her favorite princess was -- Madeleine replied "you, cinderella." Actually, Belle or Rapunzel is her favorite, but I guess she was being diplomatic. ;)
And, finally we met Belle! Madeleine loves Belle! She was so sweet & asked each princess to sign Harrison's autograph book, too. Well, we told Belle how much Harrison loves her (true, he does!) and how he was being shy and she came over to him & took his hand for a picture.
She loved all over him and he was just eating it up!
After all that princessy fun it was time for some rides! We did Small World, PhilHarMagic (again -- love Madeleine's glasses?!), and Winnie the Pooh (so so cute!)
We rode the carousel again, too! This time I got to ride with them! Yay!

Then it was time for Matt to ride Splash Mountain! We were completely astounded when Madeleine still wanted to go with him. While they did rode, Harrison, Charlotte & I found a shady spot and had some ice cream. Charlotte got her first taste of popsicle, which she though was pretty yummy! Soon after Matt & Madeleine returned from Splash Mountain. She LOVED it! She wanted to do it again! I can't believe how big that made her seem in my eyes. Matt said she was so brave and enjoyed the entire ride. Go Madeleine! She was pretty proud of herself, too.

It had been a full day by that point so we got ready to leave.

The hotel pool was calling our name when we got back. We'd gotten floaties & a baby swim ring for Charotte, so we loaded up and headed to the pool. It felt great after a long hot day outside!

The kids loved the hotel pool! We had it to ourselves that evening and had such a fun time together!

Charlotte didn't last long in her ring, she kept trying to put her face in the water and crawl out of it! So Matt & I took turns holding her. She'd stick her face in the water and splash and laugh. It wore her out!

We attempted dinner out that night and found an Abuelos near our hotel. Yum! It was a great meal -- Charlotte was passed out from such a fun day, which made for a nice, quiet dinner. :)

We headed back to the hotel to get ready for our last day at Disney and the beginning of our trip home. :( We'd had such fun that we actually debated about staying another day, but decided that it was time to get back. Boo.

I love this picture of Madeleine checking out all her autographs from the day! She treasured that book and took such good care of it!
