So we took the kids to the Cabelas fishing derby again this year. I think this might be one of NWAs best kept secrets. :) It's in a beautiful spot, the lake is stocked with fish, they give you fishing poles & bait if you need them and it's a great family event. We all love to fish, and we caught quite a few this year.
It was a beautiful day. So nice outside -- almost cool that morning! I took a picture of the clouds on the water, it was just a gorgeous day!
We met up with the other Wilson family, like we do most years. These boys were so excited to see each other! Fishing with friends is always better!
By the time we finished, it was almost lunchtime so we headed to Dairy Queen since it was close by. The kids love DQ and we don't go very often since it's so far away.
And to wrap up our fun day, we did some volunteer babysitting for our neighbors. They have the cutest little boys. Matt and the big kids took care of Mattox and Char and I took turns holding this little guy.
