Did you know that when you send a letter to Santa he sends an elf to your house to check and see if you're being naughty or nice?? Well, the elf came to our house last week to visit Madeleine. And, as elves always do, he left quite a mess!!! He scattered christmas confetti from Madeleine's room all the way to the tree, where he left her a gift since she's been so good! He left her two new princesses and she was so excited to know that she's on Santa's nice list.
There is nothing like seeing the magic of christmas through your own child's eyes. It's almost like being a kid again -- but better somehow. I'm trying to treasure this year because I know it's going to be one of the ones we'll talk about for years to come.
