So, we've been busy, busy, busy around here.
This week we celebrated Matt's birthday. He had class on his actual birthday & so we opted to celebrate this weekend. His choice? Grill steak & shrimp and birthday cake, of course! The kids were so excited to give him his presents. They'd decorated the bags their gifts were in and made him cards. They worked really hard on this. Madeleine's card had a picture of them playing golf together & Harrison card had a picture of Matt on it. We got the biggest laugh out of the fact that he drew food in Matt's tummy (grapes, chocolate milk & coffee -- ha!).
Other than that we've been just having fun and working hard. Matt's been studying a lot, as usual. One night he had a "study partner."
We celebrated Valentine's Day. I made the kids valentines and they both got a gift -- new game for Madeleine & new set of puzzles for Harrison. Their valentines told things I love about them on the back. Madeleine was so proud of hers and kept reading it over & over. I've even found her reading it since then.
We made shrinky-dinks one day. Fun stuff! They liked watching them shrink in the oven.
Harrison and Charlotte have been having some fun during the day. He had the idea to pull her around one morning....like her own personal roller coaster!
Silly boy. They've been pretending the couch is a "house on wheels" and making it into a boat as well.
