This past weekend we celebrated Matt's 32nd Birthday! We started the weekend with breakfast in bed, which actually turned into "breakfast in front of SportsCenter" but that's his favorite! Madeleine had spent the night with my parents, so Harrison and Daddy had some bonding time over food & sports!
That evening Matt and I got to enjoy a yummy steak dinner at The Butcher Shop, just the 2 of us! Then we headed back to open gifts and have cake. He got some new clothes, battery operated scissors, indoor/outdoor thermometer, plus some other great stuff! Madeleine picked out a card for him and worked SO HARD writing her name, Harrison's name and "Dad" in it. It took her over an hour to get it just perfect for him and she was super-excited to give it to him!

Madeleine's "job" at birthdays has become the Official Candle Decorator. She works so diligently putting the candles in the cake.
It was a good day for all of us! Happy Birthday Matt!
